I have seriously lacked in the blogging department lately...totally lacked. I apologize!
Nothing much has been going on, we all have been sick for two weeks now.
On Saturday Sam and I went to Uncle Roger and Aunt Barb's house.we had a FUN night of playing Chicken Foot very loudly and throwing candy and catching it with our mouths. I have lost my voice since {everyone was cheating and it got really loud! :-) } and today sound like a duck-or so I have been told by Sam.
That's all that's new around here. I have to go to another class...

When the cats away, the mice will play...In our case, when Mom and Pa go out on a date, Daisy will do things she is not supposed to do! I found her lying her comfortably on the couch in a deep sleep...She can enjoy it just for another half hour, then its back to the mat on the floor! :-)

Suprise!!

We had Mom's suprise 40th birthday party yesterday. Here is the video of her coming in:

I don't have any other pictures (too busy to take any), so hopefully this week I'll ask others to send them to me.

A big thank you to Pa for helping me plan this and to: Marti for being my consultant throughout the entire planning process, Mrs. Lessman for making the cake, Billie for keeping Mom out of the house so we could set up and to everyone else for bringing things and attending the party!

Apple Pie Bake-off

Welcome to....The K's 1st Pie Bakeoff! First, meet the contestants:

First: Sasha. Has made a number of pies before, loves to bake and is up for any challenge.
Second: Sam. Has made 2 pies before. Was not very happy about this challenge (note the face).
Meet the Apples.
Our contestants have made their crusts and fillings. The product before baking:
Sasha's
Sam's
The JUDGES: Alex, Danielle, Ralph and Myrna Alexander, Jess and Josh
The verdict: TIE. Sasha's crust and consistency of apples were better, but Sam's taste and creativity topped it off.

Join us again soon for yet another ___Bake Off.
The report is IN and I'm OUT, thank you for joining me. Have a good day!
yes, I know, we have no pics of the judging or finished product, the pies were eaten in the same night. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander for your help in judging! :-)

09.14.2008

Please pray for all of the families and friends of the 88 who died on Sunday (CNN reports here). A plane crashed early Sunday morning. No one survived. Two of Masha's friends were on that flight. Please pray for her during this hard time.

Homeschoolers!

Babysitting-

Yes, we can be goofy...
and decide not to smile...

but we had a blast Sunday night! Mom went out to get her hair done and then out to dinner. Meanwhile, we did a load of laundry, cleaned up the house, chopped peppers, ate, watched Flushed Away, played some games, read and went to bed! Josh and jess are so much fun to babysit, always well behaved, in a good mood and willing to do anything. Well, not always. Ha!

Josh's room one:
Jess's room one:
The next two are for Sam's room:

After school snack

I love hanging out with my sister...she is the best (Mash too, but she couldn't join us for our peanut butter 'n fluff shared sandwhich)!

Trying to take a self-portrait with all of us is pretty hard...these were the only shots of all four of is being somewhat in the picture! :-) In the end, we asked mom for help!
i think jess's face is soo funny!

A trip to the firehouse...

Mom took the kids to the firehouse in CT this summer...Jess was there, but for some reason didn't make the pictures.

Happy {very belated} Birthday, Sash!

I had a very good birthday this year celebrating with family. My dad suprised us the day after and flew in to CT to be with us for our last weekend there! Here are some pictures from when I was little:
