Christmas Gifts for the teachers...

This year for the teachers we made food bags. The finished product:

(I did try to add peanuts, but they weren't lovin' the caramel that day)

We tried everything (only for safety reasons ;-) ) and it was all yummy--I hope the teachers liked them too!

Can you guess what was inside the bags? I'll give you a clue: there were 9 things in the bag.

Happy 40th Birthday, Mom!

Today's Mom's birthday! I have some pictures to post later, but for now, here's how her day has gone:

5:45 am: wake up
6:30 am: surprise!! Some of Mom's friends came over with breakfast. Boy, was Mom surprised!
7:45 Friends leave, clean up
8:15-12 pm school
12 Josh and Jess and their teacher give Mom some awesome gifts and we have a nice lunch.
1 pm: Papa comes home from a business trip!

I'm not really sure what happened between 1 and now (7), but those were the Birthday highlights of the day!

Its November already!

Hi all!
Can you believe it is November? I can't! Just yesterday it was September and we were starting school! How life can fly by so very quickly!
Lets see, the news of the week:
-We had Monday and Tuesday off (all of Russia did) as it was a holiday here.
-Pa leaves tomorrow for the US
-Josh, Mom and I spent 2 hours this morning at the medical center getting xrays done. Turns out Josh has pnuemonia and I have something in my chest (its all tight). So, Joshie is on antibiotics and I have 2 puffers. Not fun, not fun at all.
-2 more days and the week ends, I love short weeks!

That's all thats new! We got our picture back from the photographer, and they will be up soon.

Trick or Treat!

We just got back from trick or treatin at the embassy! This was my, Jess's and Josh's first time trick or treating. We had fun! Jess was Jasmine and Josh was some lego person (he took his costume off later). We got a load of candy, popcorn balls and cookies. Fun night out!
