Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, we had 25 people over from church. It was so much fun-but a lot of worked. Mom spent 2 days in the kitchen, and this was our menu:

-Turkey (we named it Tom, but we weren't sure if it was a girl or boy so the female version is Tomasina)

-Canadian Dumplings

-stuffing

-cranberry sauce

-various salads

-green bean, sweet potatoe and brocolli casseroule

-mashed potatoes

-LOTS of pies, cakes, and my favorite ginger cake muffins

-chocolate-chip cookies, apple crisp

-applesauce

Josh, Jess and their arts and crafts teacher, Jaime, made a turkey and 25 feathers (1 for each guest). Everone had to write what they were thankful for on them, and then J+J put them on the turkey. The above picture is the finished product.
